I watched Halloween II (1981). 🎥
Well this was actually pretty good?
I didn’t have high expectations, but when I saw how it picked up immediately from the ending of Halloween I was on board. Doesn’t have the quiet but unyielding focused propulsion of the the original, but it is a good if unnecessary follow up.
Nothing much else to note, though they make a weird attempt at deepening the lore with the “samhain” thing. I’m a little intrigued by that but not too confident that it will be followed through in a coherent way or at all in the subsequent sequels, but I guess we’ll see…or maybe not; I’m not sure how many more I am going to watch…
